Android 17 QPR3 Beta 3 adds app locking and lock-screen blur on supported Pixel test devices. App locking uses existing device authentication rather than a separate password. Recent-app bubbles also work with third-party launchers, and the power menu gains a Screenshot option. The familiar Power plus Volume Down capture shortcut remains; Power plus Volume Up opens a menu that now offers another capture route. These changes and other fixes remain beta features, not general stable availability or an independent security boundary for each app.
