Blocks uses open geographic data from swisstopo and other sources to recreate Switzerland at one Minecraft block per metre. Minecraft Java 1.12.2 and Cubic Chunks support the high mountains, while the Jungfrau–Aletsch region is free worldwide. The full package is sold only to Swiss residents and is nonrefundable, so the creator recommends testing performance with the free region first. It requires 16 GB of memory, and simplified buildings and missing terrain in the early-access release mean it is not a perfect replica of reality.
