An on-screen notice on an LG TV says Microsoft plans to end Copilot functionality on TVs during 2026. The Verge reports that the feature introduced on LG and Samsung TVs is affected, and the notice warns it may stop working shortly. A separate joint official announcement and exact shutdown date were not confirmed; the notice says timing depends on Microsoft’s plans. The loss of TV conversation and recommendation features should not be interpreted as the end of Copilot services on PCs, the web or every other platform.
