CorridorKey 2.0 provides local AI background matting through major editing-app plugins and a standalone application. Its optional temporal pass analyzes multiple frames to reduce unstable hair and translucent edges, while AlphaHint lets users indicate what to retain. It requires NVIDIA RTX hardware on Windows or an M-series Mac running macOS 14 or later; Intel Macs, AMD GPUs and Linux are not currently supported. Official documentation says a new 4K frame can take several seconds on an RTX 3080. Cached playback speed should therefore not be confused with real-time model inference.
