Microsoft says it is retiring selected layout properties in custom CSS for Entra sign-in pages from late October. Properties such as position, margin, transform and overflow can hide or move authentication elements, affecting accessibility and security. Administrators should remove affected styles and test real sign-in flows. This is not an immediate end to all custom CSS, and Entra External ID is excluded. A complete retirement of CSS support would be announced separately.
