Google and Oracle have announced plans to offer Google TPUs through OCI from 2027 and expand over several years. OCI is set to become the first hyperscale cloud outside Google Cloud to offer them, with Oracle supplying power, cooling and networking infrastructure. The partnership broadens accelerator choices rather than signaling a reduction of the Nvidia relationship, but specific capacity, contract value and service prices have not been disclosed. Generational performance figures in the announcement should not be treated as guaranteed speed or cost improvements for every workload.
