Microsoft notice MC1511056 describes a phased retirement of the Copilot Studio app inside Teams in early 2027. Agent creation is already unsupported; editing existing agents will lose support in January, and the app is scheduled to be removed from Teams in February. Supported classic chatbots can still be created, edited, published, and managed in the Copilot Studio web app. This is not the shutdown of the entire Copilot Studio service. Organizations should redirect bookmarks, training materials, and help-desk guidance from Teams to the web interface.
