1. Operator Information

This website, yshome (hereinafter "the site", https://yshome.me), is a personal archive operated by Jaeyong Kim. For privacy-related inquiries, please reach out via the Contact page.

2. Information We Collect

The site loads Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on every page so that basic visits are not omitted. Full, cookie-based analytics is the default where permitted. Visitors in consent-required regions begin in cookieless mode until they allow full analytics. A cookieless choice, Global Privacy Control, or Do Not Track signal also forces cookieless mode and keeps advertising off.

2-1. Google Analytics (GA4)

Using measurement ID G-FP08LGZJNC, we collect usage statistics such as visitor count, page views, traffic sources, and session duration. Full mode uses the first-party _ga cookie for stable user and session measurement. In cookieless mode, Google Consent Mode v2 sends limited, cookie-free measurement pings and may use behavioral modeling to estimate metrics such as active users and daily active users when Google's eligibility thresholds are met. Without a persistent identifier, an exact per-person DAU or MAU count cannot be directly observed. Collected data is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

2-2. Microsoft Clarity

Using project ID vrctyg5m8p, we collect interaction, session recording, and heatmap data to analyze and improve site usability. Full mode uses Clarity cookies to connect page views and recognize a browser across sessions. In cookieless ConsentV2 mode, Clarity still collects limited page-view and interaction measurements, but each page view receives a new identifier, so continuous sessions and exact unique-user, DAU, or MAU counts are unavailable. Collected data is processed in accordance with Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

2-3. Google AdSense

Using publisher ID ca-pub-1287646885850308, we display advertisements after consent. Google AdSense may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your settings and browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.

2-4. Contact Form (Formspree)

Names, email addresses, message content, and file attachments submitted through the forms on the home and Contact pages are delivered to the operator via Formspree (endpoint f/xojkagnp). Submitted information is used solely for responding to inquiries and is processed in accordance with Formspree's Privacy Policy.

3. Cookies and Web Storage

This site uses cookies and browser storage for the following purposes:

  • Web storage: localStorage saves your theme preference (system/light/dark) and analytics consent choice.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies in full analytics mode. They do not set analytics cookies in cookieless mode.
  • Advertising cookies: Google AdSense sets cookies to serve personalized ads.

Analytics connections occur in both modes. Cookieless requests contain reduced measurement and consent signals but still reach Google and Microsoft. Advertising loads only after an explicit full-analytics choice. You can reopen Privacy choices from the footer at any time. Switching to cookieless clears known first-party analytics cookies and reloads the page when needed to stop previously loaded advertising code.

4. Third-Party Disclosure

Collected information is not shared with any third parties other than the services listed above (Google, Microsoft, Formspree). However, information may be disclosed as required by applicable law.

5. Your Rights

You may exercise the following rights:

  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information submitted through the contact form.
  • Refuse cookie collection through your browser settings.
  • Switch between full and cookieless analytics through the site's Privacy choices control. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are honored by forcing cookieless mode.
  • Opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.
  • Block Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Data Retention

Personal information collected through the contact form is deleted within a reasonable period after the inquiry has been resolved. Data collected through analytics services is retained according to each service provider's retention policy.

7. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes in applicable law or site operations. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
