An analysis of Alphabet’s third-quarter 2026 results puts search and other advertising at 49.7% of total revenue. Search revenue itself grew 12% year over year, while cloud revenue rose 103% to account for 24.1% of the total. The falling share therefore reflects faster growth elsewhere, not an absolute contraction in search. The quarter shows a changing revenue mix, but it does not by itself establish search’s long-term position or the profitability of each business.
