Apple announced Home Collection, bringing together locks, cameras, thermostats, and sensors from LG and Schneider. It says proximity setup with an iPhone and Home app integration reduce the need for separate manufacturer accounts and provide end-to-end encryption. Products begin shipping in December, with some following in early 2027, initially focused on the United States and Canada.
