Corey Prophitt built marketyour.games, offering accounts, search, and payments, with OpenBSD, C, httpd, and SQLite. Deployment consists of one binary containing static assets and a database file. Its CGI architecture launches a process for each request, so replacing the file updates subsequent requests. The developer reports three additional libraries and rebuilds taking less than half a second. In exchange, cookies, form validation, and output escaping were implemented directly. Separately reviewed kcgi offers input isolation and validation as an alternative, but it is not a library used in this product.
