Cognition released three agent skills to detect and remediate recent vulnerabilities in PHP, Node.js and self-managed GitLab. They first inspect version pins and deployment configuration read-only, then modify only approved targets after checking that fixed images or packages actually exist. The workflow runs before-and-after tests inside the production image and prepares a focused pull request with risks, rollout steps and a rollback target. It supports multiple coding agents, but installing the skills does not itself patch systems or eliminate regression risk.

The workflow connects inventory, verified patch targets and container tests, while keeping change approval and deployment verification explicit.
