/dev/null is a developer social service using GitHub-based profiles for posts, follows, stars and replies. Its introduction calls text posts of up to 4,000 characters commits and promotes a chronological feed. Directly viewed service pages displayed actual posts and the operator’s explanation of manual approval for first posts followed by automated moderation. Detailed moderation conditions and growth figures were not independently verified, and a chronological feed does not mean there is no content moderation.
