The Verge reports that names, job titles, work contact details and office information for more than 41,000 employees across US Department of Homeland Security agencies were leaked. The records included CBP, ICE and other agencies, with some information linked to groups that could access surveillance tools. Reporting mentions access through Okta, but this does not establish a vulnerability in the identity service itself. DHS did not immediately respond. The case illustrates how contact records can become more consequential when combined with organizational and access information.
