Google announced file creation, previewing and editing inside Gemini conversations for users across its supported languages. Users can edit in a full-screen view or select part of a document to ask questions about it. PDF support is available on the web and mobile, while Docs, Sheets, Slides, Markdown, plain text and code files are listed as web-supported formats. The workflow reduces the need to move generated material into another app, but supported formats and editing capabilities still differ by device.
