GitHub introduced Copilot Projects to coordinate agents across repositories and Fusion to combine model execution strategies. Developers supply goals and context, inspect agent work and PRs in one place, and redirect ongoing tasks. Dreaming proposes PRs to update stale instructions for human review. Enterprise customers also gain an option to pay for AI credit usage without a separate Copilot subscription. A full move to Azure is targeted for early next year, not already complete. Greater coordination automation does not transfer responsibility for code and validation away from developers.
