Selecting ‘Shop devices’ in Google Play’s profile menu has been observed offering Samsung devices such as Galaxy S26 and Fold8 alongside Pixels, then directing users to Google Store checkout. The flow uses the existing Google account and cart, although the same products were difficult to find through direct Google Store searches. It connects a rival’s hardware to Google’s own checkout process. However, the scope of an official general rollout was not confirmed, so availability cannot be assumed for every region or account, including South Korea.
