Apple announced HomePod mini 2 at $149, with sales beginning October 30. It offers five colors and new display effects, plus a surround configuration connecting four speakers of the same type to the new Apple TV 4K. Siri AI is scheduled for a later software update rather than launch and requires a compatible Apple Intelligence iPhone or iPad. Buying the speaker alone does not satisfy every requirement for personalized AI.
