Infinite Mac now offers multiple BeOS versions in the browser, with streamed disks for booting, preinstalled software, CD-ROM access, and persistent work on Saved HD. Its developer fixed DingusPPC keyboard handling, display-depth notification ordering, video memory behavior, and ROM mapping. An operating system developed independently of Mac OS exposed weaknesses in existing emulator assumptions. Despite BeOS’s responsiveness, separate PowerPC and Intel executables and incompatible BFS disk endianness remain portability constraints. Screenshot capture and video recording with audio are also supported.
