Pukyong National University says information for 5,106 students and two employees was exposed through Suhyup Bank’s external Campus e-Moa tuition-payment system. Unauthorized administrator accounts reportedly accessed it for about 20 hours on October 17 and 18; the incident was recognized after a monetary demand arrived on October 20. Exposed student fields included names, student numbers, departments and tuition virtual-account details, but not national identification numbers, according to the university. New registration and unauthorized accounts were blocked and affected people notified. Tuition or refund impersonation remains a separate risk, so account-change instructions should be checked against official university notices.
