A rider’s screenshot of Tesla’s Austin Robotaxi app shows a 1 AM cutoff, one hour later than midnight. A last-call notice limits trips to nearby drop-offs, and the geofence extends to the Circuit of the Americas racetrack. Some track-related destinations nevertheless appeared under a service-blocked heading, leaving actual pickup and drop-off availability uncertain. Tesla had not issued an official announcement. This observation is not full implementation of its previously announced plans for 2 AM service and round-the-clock operation by year-end. Riders need to check actual trip availability as well as the map boundary.
