TeslaNorth, citing a company announcement, reports that SpaceX obtained a binding commitment for an approximately $40 billion master finance lease covering GPUs and related equipment through an entity managed by Apollo. The arrangement is intended to supply NVIDIA Vera Rubin hardware for terrestrial computing infrastructure. The report says closing is expected before the end of 2026, with lease schedules beginning as equipment arrives in the first half of 2027. Despite Musk’s earlier shorthand about securing debt, this does not mean all funds have been paid or hardware delivered; it is a contractual advance beyond earlier fundraising reports.
