The Browser Company announced Arc’s shutdown schedule. New account creation closes on October 22, followed on November 23 by the end of mobile AI features, sign-in, and synchronization. Desktop Arc and all accounts will be deactivated on December 22, with account data scheduled for deletion within the following 30 days. The Android app will close, while a limited version will remain on iOS. Users can export their data or use Dia’s import feature before the deadlines. Unlike last year’s announcement that development would stop, this announcement sets dates when actual use will end.
