Denmark’s Ministry of Digitalisation has ended a Collabora document-editing pilot launched in summer 2025. Thirty-eight employees tested the LibreOffice-based editor integrated into cBrain’s F2 for more than six months, with the project stopping around the spring 2026 election. Reports described problems with formatting, blank pages and tracked changes, but the ministry conducted no formal evaluation, and technical issues have not been established as the direct cause of cancellation. This was a limited departmental trial, not a government-wide rejection of open source. It highlights the value of compatibility testing and transparent exit criteria.
