Microsoft documents a Global Privacy Control setting for Edge users in the United States. When enabled, it signals to visited websites that users do not want personal information sold or shared for targeted advertising. The setting communicates a preference; it does not technically block every tracker or guarantee compliance by every site. Chromium source code also contains an experimental flag that forces the Sec-GPC=1 signal, but that alone does not establish a general stable-Chrome rollout. Availability of the same setting in Korea was not confirmed. Regional availability and website handling should be evaluated separately.

Edge provides a Global Privacy Control setting for US users
The opt-out signal is not a tracker blocker, and Chromium’s experimental flag is a separate matter.
