Google Vids is rolling out the ability to detach audio from video into an independent track and adjust individual clips from 0.25x to 2x speed. Detached audio can be moved or trimmed separately and play across scenes, simplifying narrated demonstrations. The features are available to Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers and personal Google accounts. Google specifies gradual rollouts of up to 15 days starting October 16 for speed controls and October 19 for audio extraction, so visibility may vary by account.
