IPTrust rescaled countries’ land areas in proportion to their IPv4 address counts. The visualization uses roughly 3.6 billion geolocatable addresses from October 2026, Natural Earth boundaries and a reference land area of about 135 million square kilometers. Antarctica and around 70 small territories representing approximately 52 million addresses were excluded. The result depends on those data and exclusions. Address geolocation is not the same as users’ locations, so the map should not be treated as a ranking of population, internet adoption or network quality.
