Samsung TV researcher log4j alleges that models without built-in microphones can find microphones on connected soundbars or Bluetooth devices for Bixby. Samsung’s public Microphone API does document listing connected microphones and enabling devices. That does not establish that a particular television records without consent or sends audio off-device, nor does it imply arbitrary access to nearby unpaired devices. Follow-up reporting likewise separates documented controls from unverified claims about actual audio and telemetry transmission.
