In an October 28 post, SpaceX said Ship 42, the upper stage being prepared for Starship Flight 15, had completed its static-fire tests. It performed a full-duration six-engine firing and a single-Raptor firing to simulate a deorbit burn. This is an upper-stage preparation milestone distinct from the previously covered booster-engine test. Operating engines on the ground does not demonstrate a successful launch, orbital departure or reentry, and the short announcement alone does not confirm a flight date or completion of all flight preparations.

The Flight 15 preparation milestone is a ground test, not an orbital-flight result.
