Tangled introduced a Svelte interface and the Rust-based, in-memory Bobbin indexer, distributing read access across more than eleven regions. Its new Knot2 stores issues, pull requests and comments as Git objects alongside the code, with attestations in the author’s personal data server pointing to the exact record version for two-way verification. Organization accounts and stacked pull requests for Git and Jujutsu are also available. Self-hosters should follow the v1.20.0 migration guidance, including contact email, file-storage paths and event-stream proxy configuration. Private repositories, a CLI and SDKs are planned for staggered releases over the coming weeks, not all available today.
