Florilegium computes petals, leaves and stems in LuaLaTeX and draws them as PDF paths. Unlike its fixed composition, the grown layout fills larger empty spaces first and can adapt to the area below text on the final page. A seed derived from the page number makes results reproducible under the same conditions. Applying seasons across the document requires two compilations to obtain the page count. The related 1998 research describes adaptive clip art that regenerates ornament when its target region changes. This project draws on that idea; it does not claim to be a complete reproduction of the paper.
