An Android Police week-long trial describes finding phone photos through scene descriptions or another image in Memoria. The project says it runs a MobileCLIP-based image encoder on-device and searches without an account or internet permission. Initial indexing took time, generated heat and consumed battery, and search accuracy was imperfect. The roughly 100 MB app also needs additional index storage that grows with the library. Five query languages including English are documented, but Korean support is not listed. Basic file operations such as moving and copying remain on the roadmap, so the app should not be treated as a replacement for every Google Photos feature.

Memoria searches photos locally with words or images
The Android workflow trades cloud processing for initial indexing costs and incomplete file-management features.
