MemScope jointly examines execution traces, stored memories, and current code to locate failures and apply limited patches to an existing memory architecture. The paper reports 83.64% on GAIA validation using DeepSeek V3.2 with Flash-Searcher; the abstract’s 86.67% comes from a separate diagnostic experiment. Success on unseen ALFWorld tasks rose from 50.75% to 71.64%, while the median code modification ratio across 14 retained changes was 4.4%. These are the researchers’ own experiments preserving compatibility with existing records and the implementation’s identity, not a guarantee of equivalent gains in general systems.

MemScope uses execution evidence for localized repairs to agent memory code
The method improves memory without replacing it wholesale, but small diagnostic results must be distinguished from full benchmarks.
