OpenAI is making its GPT-6 Luna-based Decisions API generally available. It returns bounded judgments such as true-or-false probabilities, choices and scores, increases the number of questions per request to 400, and supports images and native JSON input. The company also describes prompt caching, GPT-Live integration, and US and EU data residency options. It says the API can be up to 10 times faster for certain tasks than ordinary Responses calls to the same model, but this is not a guarantee for every request. Availability and processing scope have expanded since the beta, while judgment accuracy for actual business tasks still needs separate evaluation.

The API targets services needing bounded choices and scoring judgments rather than unrestricted long-form answers.
