RepRapMicron’s public wiki describes roughly one-micrometer repeatability and ten-micrometer positioning accuracy for its small PIKA fabrication device. Its working volume is approximately an eight-millimeter cube, and examples show deposited microdroplets and lines. The project aims toward smaller fabrication devices and, over the long term, self-replication, but current results do not amount to complete self-replication. Earlier RepRap wiki material also treats scaled-down functional replication and component production as future work. Resolution, accuracy, and the stage actually achieved need to be distinguished.

RepRapMicron describes microfabrication progress and self-replication goals
Micron-scale repeatability and complete machine self-replication are distinct milestones.
