Tesla said its 2027 Megapack supply was nearly fully booked and data center demand was strong. Third-quarter storage deployment was 13.7GWh, but energy revenue declined, and tariff refunds and warranty cost adjustments contributed substantially to higher margins. A separate SpaceX quarterly disclosure showed additional purchases of Tesla Megapacks during the first nine months of the year, classified as related-party equipment asset transactions. Installation locations were not disclosed. Strong orders and related-party transactions are confirmed, but they do not establish a merger between the companies or guarantee that next year’s revenue will be realized.

Tesla reports stronger Megapack orders and SpaceX purchases
Related-party purchases should be separated from overall demand, and margins containing one-off adjustments should not be extrapolated unchanged.
